About

Nature tours and overnight camping experiences

Discover an untouched wilderness closer than you think

Nature Engagement Tours run guided nature tours and camping trips in some of Australia’s most pristine and unspoilt national parks.

The only tour operator of its kind on the New South Wales South Coast, we offer multi day tours and one-day walks near Braidwood, Batemans Bay and Narooma. And just a short drive from Sydney, Wollongong and Canberra, you’ll expeirence scenery akin to the landscapes of Tasmania and New Zealand, just down the road.

A gateway into the rugged South Coast bushlands

We operate in the Deua National Park and the Murramarang National Park. Although they’re close to major regional centres, some camp sites require a 4WD, which makes it hard to access if you’re time poor, unfamiliar with the area, or don’t have all the equipment. But we believe everyone should everyone should be able to experience the beauty of these places.

That’s why we created Nature Engagement Tours – so you can experience nature with worrying about anything. We supply all food and camping equipment and pick you up from a convenient location with easy access to parking or public transport. All you need is your sleeping bag, pillow and your personal items. And a sense of adventure!

We’ll take you places you’ve never been

We don’t just put you on a bus and cart you out into the bush like one of those run of the mill adventure tours. We aim to give you a personalised experience, as if you were out bushwalking or camping with a friendly local. But minus all the hard work!

Paul, your personal guide, is the only tour operator with a National Parks and Wildlife Eco pass for the Deua National Park and the Murramarang National Park. He knows the Deua as if it were his own back yard. He’ll take you places no one else knows about, and show you plants and animals you won’t find anywhere else.

Nature tours help you disconnect and reconnect

Most of all, what we hope to give you is something you can’t put a price on – the chance to switch off. What Nature Engagement Tours is all about is disconnecting from all the stresses of your daily life so you can reconnect with nature. Yep, that includes your phone, social media, your job… whatever responsibilities you may have.

Because when you get back to nature, it gives you the space you need to connect with yourself and your loved ones.

So if you’ve always wanted to go camping but don’t have the time, the equipment or the local know-how, don’t let that stop you. Now’s your chance to experience something truly unique.
